BBNo 05 East Coast IPA
East or West? In the name of experimentation we have created a version of each style, brewed with the same quantities of Loral, Citra, Summit, Chinook and Zeus hops, but using different yeast for each. Our East Coast version brings a typical haze for the style with juicy hops, low-bitterness and a smooth, soft finish. Our West Coast version pours brighter with a pronounced and assertive bitterness as well as notes of citrus and pine.
Boxcar Native Place Pale Ale
A quiet night, a lit path, an endless direction of home. Boxcar's house Pale Ale, soft and comforting but fresh and delicious.
Crunch Peanut Butter Milk Stout
After three months and 37 different experiments, this stout has what we consider to be the perfect ratio of peanut butter, lactose and biscuit. A hit of roasted peanut on the nose, followed by a sweet CRUNCH as it goes down.
Ascension Champing At The Pit White Peach Cider
East Sussex, UK
Peaches and cider is nothing new, but there’s always room for improvement. The ethos of Ascension is to try and let every element of the blend shine through and I think we nailed it. Wild Cider, sweet juice and some amazing peaches combined to make a summer smasher that sells out super fast every year.
Brick Brewery Orange Crush Gose
A refreshing citrus forward gose. Orange juice and peel bring a distinct citrus flavour and aroma to the kettle sour base. Meyer lemon and mandarin, adds a sweet tang with a subtle bergamot herbal spice and fragrance which is emphasised by the additions of coriander seed and sea salt.
Vibrant Forest Viridis Rhubarb and Raspberry Sour
In Viridis we pair sweet raspberry with tart rhubarb to create an exceptionally refreshing beer. We marry this pairing with a strong, oat heavy base, which we then sour with Lactobacillus. The aroma in viridis is palpable, and bursts from the glass. An intensely fruited and thick body await, with the rhubarb and raspberry bringing a perfectly balanced experience throughout.
Verdant Brewing Co. Even Sharks Need Water IPA
We put together an A-Team of Simcoe, Citra and Galaxy with our super fruity house yeast strain to make a classic New England IPA – just a hint of bitterness, and a balance of sharper citrus fruits to stop the tropical aroma being too sweet. Malt: Extra Pale, Wheat, Caramalt, Flaked Barley, Oats
Hops: Citra, Galaxy, Simcoe (or Nelson Sauvin)
Yeast: London Ale III
Cloudwater Brew Co. The Windows Were Golden Pale Ale
Manchester & New Zealand
In the early morning light, houses nestled in the hills around Little Kaiteriteri Beach glow bright gold. A short drive north of Riwaka, both a place in New Zealand’s south island and the name of the fragrant hop featured in this single-hopped Pale Ale, waves gently broke on Kaiteriteri’s shores, as if they too were lapping up the early morning peace and quiet.
Tiny Rebel Fizzy Cola Sour
Looks like Cola, smells like cola, tastes like sour cola!
Deya Steady Rolling Man - Pale Ale Can
Steady Rolling Man. Our pale ale. Inspired by the ridiculously tasty hoppy beers we fell for, we got brewing our own versions, over and over again, while listening to the blues greats. The heady concoction of old-time blues records and juicy American hops transfixed us from the start and the rolling man was born in these sessions! Incredibly soft and delicate with intense tropical fruit hop aromatics and saturation, this is our vision of the perfect pale ale.
Cloudwater The Windows Were Golden - NZ Pale Ale
In the early morning light, houses nestled in the hills around Little Kaiteriteri Beach glow bright gold. A short drive north of Riwaka, both a place in New Zealand’s south island and the name of the fragrant hop featured in this single-hopped Pale Ale, Kaiteriteri’s shores were lapped by waves reduced to a mere whisper, as if they too enjoyed early morning peace and quiet.
Verdant Headband Pale Ale
Without Headband it’s possible that there would be no Verdant! We had our Lightbulb moment with, well, Lightbulb extra pale ale. However, it was Headband pale ale that secured us our first customer - and the beer has undoubtedly proved inspirational to each and every one of our beers ever since. After peaking the interest of the staff at Small Bar Bristol with some homebrew bottles, we knew that we wanted to set up a brewery. We rented a shipping container purely off the promise that Small Bar would buy some of our beer if we ever went pro. While navigating a measly 20ft of space, we set about developing a range of beers that reflected both our love of sessionable cask beer and hazy New England-style beers. Headband falls right in-between those two camps: it takes the full-bodied juiciness of a New England offering, but also possesses the lower ABV that makes it possible to deem it “sessionable”.
Deya Senescence - IPA
Crisp, clean IPA utilising the New Zealand hops Nelson Sauvin and Motueka.
